General Information Chobe King's Den, situated on the banks of the Chobe river, close to Kasane, borders four countries - Namibia, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Botswana. The lodge is equally accessible from all these countries and from South Africa as well. Guests are met by friendly lodge personnel at the Kasane Immigration Office and transferred per boat from there to the Chobe King's Den and the Zambezi Queen, which is moored at Chobe King's Den Lodge.

All rooms have an en-suite bathroom with either a shower or a bath. Complimentary coffee packs and a flask of hot water are provided. All rooms have a ceiling fan. Power is supplied by generator which is turned off at 22h00 every evening. The chalets overlooking the river have overhanging balconies.

Activities • A 3 hour boat ride on the Chobe river within the Chobe National Park, where you can see hippos, crocodiles, elephants and buffaloes. Carmine bee-eaters can be seen at the breeding colony. Also hear the call of the Fish Eagle and look out for some of the 420 recorded bird species in the area. • On request boat trips for game viewing can be arranged which take you through the Chassai channel. • Day tours to the Chobe National Park and Victoria Falls can be arranged • Visit to a traditional village can be arranged

General Information The lodge is situated in a Malaria area and guests are advised to take precautions throughout their visit. For medical emergencies a private doctor is available in Kasane. Guests will be assisted with immigration at Kasane, as well as border crossing permits by management and/or staff of Chobe King's Den Lodge. Guests cars can be stored at Kasane Immigration office.
