The Strand Hotel will not be operational anymore as of 1 April 2008,
as the hotel will be demolished. It will be replaced by a bigger,
five-star hotel, which will be managed by the prestigious Kempinski
Hotel Group once it has been completed. Please watch the Kempinski

The Strand Hotel has a prime location, overlooking a romantic palm-lined beachfront. It is conveniently located in walking distance from the centre of town, offering excellent shopping and sightseeing opportunities.
